Vino Travels: DC - we walked that city

DC is a beautiful city. The Nation's Capitol is equipped with breath-taking views, delicious restaurants, and a style all its own.

We spent 12 hours walking this city: with only a handful of metro rides. Our itinerary read: Dark Star Park, Iwo Jima memorial, Arlington Cemetary [Kennedy grave sites included, as well as the Arlington House, Tomb of the unknown soldier, and more] the Library of Congress, views of the Supreme Court, the Capitol Building, a quick tour of the Air and Space Museum, an outside stroll of the US Botanical Gardens, and views of the Washingon Monument, Jefferson Monument, World War II Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, Korean Memorial, & Lincoln Memorial. ah-MAZ-ing scenery and sites.

Really, walking this city is the way too go, minus the aching legs and feet... My "lose it" app told me I burned roughly 1400 calories. Yowza!
