New to clafoutis, I decided to give Eat Live Run's recipe a try.
It was pretty easy: pit cherries. Grease pan. Put pitted cherries in greased pan. Blend other ingredients in a blender. Pour. See? Super super easy.
Pulling it out of the oven, it resembled a pop-over, but after cooling, deflates quickly.
I paired my clafoutis with chai iced tea and coconut milk. Delicious, slightly eggy, with crisp edges slightly reminiscent of a pancake. This dish takes breakfast to a whole new level.
